CBA bids for 83% stake in Indonesia's Bank Arta Niaga

Bank Commonwealth, the Indonesia unit of Commonwealth Bank of Australia, has revealed plans to purchase 157.71 million shares of Indonesia's Bank Arta Niaga Kencana at IDR1,660 each. The purchase would give Bank Commonwealth an 83% stake in the bank, for a total consideration of A$29 million.
